Project Lexicon

The Ngam Lexicon, Lexique Ngam, is a work in progress,
and is based heavily vocabulary and sentences retrieved from one of the Conversation et
Textes series produced by CCL during the 1970's. The words and sentences have
been translated into French in order to make them more useful to readers in Chad.
There is also a brief an introduction in English.
The work is based principally on the Tel dialect, which has some very interesting features,
including intervocalic 'h' where long vowels appear in Mbay and Sar.
